It's time to decorate your Scandi home for Easter
Bring a few simple Scandi touches to your home this Easter – from tablescapes to wreaths, Easter branches to paper decorations
Easter is a lovely time of year to decorate your home, but in true Scandi style, think less is more and avoid the temptation to go to heavily themed (you won't find any oversized Easter bunnies gracing our Scandi neighbours' windowsills!). Keep things simple, understated and muted in colour instead. Try our favourite Scandi Easter style ideas…

Pick simple tableware shapes
Dress your Easter table with natural tableware with a rustic feel. Look for stoneware in creamy-mink or soft greys, which work brilliantly with natural materials, such as wooden furniture and a linen tablecloth. Keep floral arrangements easy – just a few daffodils in a few of your favourite vases add height to the setting.

Forage for a twig
Create a simple Easter arrangement with a gnarled twig placed in your favourite vase. Hang paper decorations from its branches, keeping to a neutral colour palette. Top tip - try popping a tumbler inside your vase to weigh it down and stop your Easter tree crashing down during Easter lunch.

Bring in plenty of texture
Natural materials are always a great choice for a Scandi tablescape. Try woven placemats to contrast with a linen tablecloth, while a carved cake stand will contrast effortlessly with a tempting Easter cake.

Hang up an Easter wreath
Wreaths aren't just for decorating your home at Christmas, with an Easter one the perfect way to inject colour, life and seasonality into your Scandi home (and you could always tweak for Midsummer).

Create an Easter gallery wall
Swap in a few seasonal prints for an easy gallery wall update - and the perfect backdrop to your Easter table.

Build up a collection of Easter decorations
Start your own Easter decoration hoard, with delicate glass ones that you bring out every year. In Sweden at Easter, Easter branches are decorated with feathers, and placed in the window, ready for the 'Easter hags' to come calling for treats.

Work in paper decorations
Honeycomb egg decorations are ideal for bringing a little understated Scandi Easter style to your home. Group together along a shelf, hang from a branch tree, or even use an egg-shaped one in the middle of a napkin tied as bunny ears.
