The summer-dreaming issue…

Anyone else so ready for summer, or is it just me dreaming of sunny days, indoor-outdoor living and relaxed times? In our Vol 22 Summer Simply Scandi, we look at home life across Scandinavia during the summer months, starting with a visit to three beautiful homes, all of which have so many ideas to inspire your own Scandi scheme. From finding colour inspiration in your home’s surroundings (see Johanne’s Danish summerhouse at one with nature), and Lasse’s Norwegian cabin by the sea), to Sofie’s renovation of an old Swedish vicarage, with its beautiful garden, I love the passion and dedication that surrounds each.

Helen Russell’s article always makes me smile – and this time is no exception, as she explains why emails can often go unanswered during the Scandi Summer Switch, as Scandinavians collectively swap work for the sun. I was lucky enough to combine work and play last summer when I headed to the Norwegian capital for three fun-packed days.
