Come on inside to our beautiful Simply Scandi Christmas – the perfect companion to creating the best Scandi Christmas wherever you live. When I launched Simply Scandi six years ago, I hoped that we’d attract readers around the world, not just in the UK, and to this day I’m constantly amazed at just how far the Simply Scandi brand has spread. I particularly love hearing from Scandinavians in the UK, who buy the magazine for a taste of home. 

Talking of home, we’ve five wonderfully festive places from across Scandinavia, each one with its own traditions and seasonal magic. Our cover home is in a Swedish village and belongs to Elin and Tobias and their three children – Elin just loves the anticipation, the crafting and all that goes into creating a sense of togetherness for Christmas. I think I’m with Elin! I might start now to get a head start this year…

Luckily, our Scandi Gift Guide has given me plenty of present ideas for friends and family (and a few bits I love myself), while Brontë Aurell’s Christmas Eve smörgåsbord feast means the food is sorted. I also love making my own Christmas wreath and paper decorations each year… Hold on, perhaps I’ve made this magazine for me, a Welsh girl living in Surrey with a love of all things Scandi… Oh well!
