Come on in, take off your coat and let me pour you a glass of gløgg… after all, we’re just Scandi-loving friends getting ready for Christmas. And we’ve so much to inspire you in this, our fourth Simply Scandi Christmas special (fifth if you count our launch digital issue – how have I edited so many already?). But Christmas is one time of year that I never tire of even if, for me, it means starting work on this special as summer begins – it just gives me longer to think about what Scandi touches and traditions I want to bring home this year. 

I love the homes in this issue. Owners Kamilla, Kristine, Inger Marie, Laila and Hanna all have their own Christmas traditions – from decorations to crafting, table styling to foraging for foliage, and more – there are so many takeaway ideas for your own home. Simply Scandi Christmas is just the thing you need to get you in the festive mood.

Talking of ideas, wait until you read Copenhagen-based Laura Hall’s hacks for doing Christmas like a local. There are certainly a few on my list for when I next visit Scandinavia at this time of year (and even some I’ll be including at home).
