Find Simply Scandi's Autumn/Winter Edit at Nkuku
The new Autumn/Winter at Nkuku is a beautifully curated collection of furniture, home accessories and textiles, where timeless design meets traditional craft. Simply Scandi Editor Jen shares her favourite buys.
"What an exciting time for Nkuku," says Jen. "Not only will you see its first Home Fragrance Collection on sale, featuring five thoughtfully curated scent stories, a new store opened in August in Redbrick, near Leeds, as well as the brand's new Interior Design Service, that works closely with clients to bring craftsmanship and lasting design into their spaces."
Here are a few of Jen's favourite finds for a cosy Scandi-style home from Nkuku this Autumn/Winter…

For the Scandi bedroom
"Check out the new bedside tables and chest of drawers added to Nkuku's bedroom furniture," says Jen. "Look out for pieces made from rustic reclaimed wood ceiling beams, as well as solid acacia wood with a deep walnut finish. Of course, the Scandi bed needs lots of layers at this time of year, with Nkuku's bed linen made in Portugal from natural cotton and hemp along with velvet and linen quilts the perfect way to create your own cosy escape."

For the Scandi living room
"I love a good storage piece in a Scandi living room, such as a dresser you can fill with treasured finds. New additions to the Ibo furniture collection, crafted from reclaimed wood salvaged from traditional transport trucks, provide ideal freestanding storage," says Jen. "The glazed fronts allow you to style up the shelves, while keeping everything neat and tidy."

For the Scandi kitchen
"Nkuku's kitchen accessories are perfect for the Scandi cook, entertainer or even just fika-lover," says Jen. "With serveware made for large gatherings, as well as coloured glassware, there's something for everyone. Don't miss a beautiful new green colour of Nkuku's best-selling Indigo Drop tableware made by skilled makers in Vietnam, while new additions to its lighting collection are just in time for those darker nights."

For the Scandi scent lover
"Autumn also sees the launch of Nkuku's first Home Fragrance Collection, featuring five curated scent stories," says Jen. "My favourite? Sea Salt & Moss for its connection to the outdoors. I also love that, once burnt, the candle pot can be turned into a flowerpot, pen holder or whatever takes your fancy!"

Poppy Munson, Product Developer at Nkuku, says: "The cooler months and darker nights generally mean we spend more time at home. It's a time when we really start to notice the things around us and what makes a cosy home to hunker down in until spring. With this in mind we've created a beautiful Autumn/Winter collection, including new furniture styles for those looking to invest in larger pieces for the home.
"New home accessories and tableware offer easy updates that can be effortlessly woven into existing decor and homeware collections. Our new Home Fragrance Collection has been a couple of years in the making, and we're so pleased with how it's come together – featuring unique scents and reusable glass vessels that can be repurposed around the home," says Poppy.
